El Rio Anniversary Party Today

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

As you know, we here at BAS.com love the fuck out of El Rio.  Hell, our own Threadbare-Fact Finder, Stephen Torres, even works there.  He even wrote a whole piece detailing all of El Rio’s amazing deals, and there are MANY of them.

Today this fantastic watering hole is celebrating it’s 31st anniversary (which is about twice as old as my maturity level).  There’s gonna be live music by Judea Eden, Sang Matiz, and Axton Kincaid plus cheap drinks and BBQ!  What more can you ask for in life?

There is certainly a good chance I will be there, even though I’m still feeling a bit raw from last night’s surprise Mos Def show.  Also, if you’re looking for something else awesome and FREE, check out this ill ass show I just saw over at Johnny Funcheap’s site.  I love Angelo Moore!
