I was walking with a friend in Duboce Park the other day when we stumbled upon a bunch of food carts. Although the delicious fumes wafting from “Wholesome Bakery†and “That Guy’s Fries†were trumped a minute later when my friend stepped in dog shit (the perils of Duboce Park), they were still enticing enough to make me wish I hadn’t already eaten lunch. I thought, if only I’d known the food carts were going to be there today! Luckily, most of the SF food carts and pop-up restaurants have Twitter pages. Several websites are dedicated to following those tweets and telling you what carts will be where on any given day. Enjoy!
Kartography SF organizes the carts by Sweet, Savory, and Other.
San Francisco Food Carts on Listorious links the Twitter pages of 60 (!!) SF carts, trucks and pop-up restaurants.
SF Food Carts and Trucks displays tweets from a bunch of the popular carts.
Yelp also lists them.
