Broke-Ass of the Week

Broke Ass Of The Week — Alex G., The Hottest Girl In the Nonprofit Sector

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Every week we feature a different person from the community shedding a little light on their life of brokeitude.  Who knows, maybe you’ll learn something about the human spirit'probably not.

Wanna be a Broke-Ass of the Week?  Holler at us here and we’ll send you the questionnaire.

Also known as “Shorty Boom Boom”, Alex G.’s reputation as The Hottest Girl In The Nonprofit Sector (a title which may or may not have been createdby Ashley) is, as you can see, no lie.  Alex is an Interim Development Chair on the Board of Directors of Stoked.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring at-risk youth through action sports.  Um, why hasn’t anyone thought of that before?

Not only is she majorly accomplished and dedicated to the well-being of at-risk teens, but this girl can cook up a storm.  Though, I’ve enjoyed many a root vegetable salad at her house, my favorite delicacy of hers is her cookies.  Keep your eye on this one, people.
