Outside In – A Street Food Extravaganza

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I. Love. Street food. Even in a place like San Francisco with it’s sometimes depressing non-summers, street food brings on that happy-go-lucky “I just sat in a park and did nothing but lay in the sun for eight hours” kind of feeling. I don’t want to jinx it, but the weather is supposed to be pretty sweet this weekend (although weather.com has been known to blatantly lie to my face in the past) so what better way to celebrate then to stuff your face with some tasty street food?!

This Sunday at 6:00 PM Heart, Soul Cocina and Kitchenette are hosting the fourth installment of Outside In where there will be an orgy of awesome vendors with wine pairings up the wazoo. Yes. The wazoo. It’s FREE to get in, and street food is generally awesomely cheap. The complete list of street food suppliers and DJs can be found here. The lengthy list is giving me a little anxiety actually. Street food to me is like Pokemon…gotta taste ’em all! Ok I’m done.

Ali was born and raised in the Wholesome/Creepy capital of the world, Salt Lake City, UT. Once she was old enough to blow that pop stand she escaped to the place that was the anti-SLC: The Peoples Gay-public of Drugifornia aka San Francisco (holla 30 Rock!). You can now find her throughout this glorious city slurping Pho and scheming with her best friend Pinky doing what they do every night; try and take over the world.
