Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Cheap Beer and Tacos at Little Chihuahua

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Carne Asada and Salmon Tacos

Little Chihuahua on Divisadero is well-loved in the neighborhood for their range of menu options that goes beyond the normal taqueria burrito/quesadilla/taco options to include some pretty awesome brunch dishes. And although their choice to stock only sustainable meat and fish products means I don’t think any Arizona State Troopers will be pulling over Little Chihuahua’s cuisine and asking to see its papers anytime soon, the place has definitely earned the right to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. Which is exactly what they’re doing tonight with a special happy hour that includes $2 draft beers and $3 tacos from 3-6pm. They’ve recently started pouring Pacifico from the tap, so if nothing else you can get a change of pace from the other $2 beer options on Divis.

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
