$1 PBRs at the Release Party for QM's "The Happy Hour"

Usually when I tell people that they should check out a friend of mine’s music, I neglect to mention knowing the artist.  If you say, “yeah dude you should peep my friend’s band” most people will be automatically be less interested because they think you’re biased.  So I always say, “you should check out this band/rapper/DJ/kazoo player I’m digging”.  I makes it seem more legitimate.

But this time I’m saying check out my friend QM’s record release party because The SF Bay Guardian says the same thing!  And they’re actually a legitimate news source whereas we pretty much just tell poop jokes.

Tonight QM, Richie Cunning, and the rest of the Rec League crew will be celebrating the release of QM’s new album Happy Hour by performing at the Hotel Utah.  There’s gonna be $1 PBRs from 9-12 and $10 grab bags that come with the album, beer koozies, stickers, and buttons.  But I’ll just let the man tell you about it himself:

I’ve partied with these cats MANY times and I will guarantee you it’s gonna be wild tonight.  Check out QM’s single “They Like Us” and otherwise I will see you at the Hotel Utah tonight.

Broke-Ass Stuart - Editor In Cheap

I've been called "an Underground legend": SF Chronicle , "an SF cult hero": SF Bay Guardian, and "the chief of cheap": Time Out New York, but to those familiar with my work, I'm just "that douchebag who writes books about cheap stuff and drinks a lot".
