Market SF – Cool Art and Cheap Booze

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Market SF combines two of my favorite things: alcohol and art!  When don’t they go together?!  Happily, each and every Saturday the two combine to help local artists and designers find patrons, and vice versa.  Even if you can’t afford the art it’s a great opportunity to learn you some facts about the local art community, have some cheap drinks, and make some friends along the way.

Drink specials include $5 Bloody Mary’s and Mimosas.  I generally enjoy any drink that has food in it, so this especially excites me.  This week there also appears to be a sandwich special in the mix.  Sign me up!

Ali was born and raised in the Wholesome/Creepy capital of the world, Salt Lake City, UT. Once she was old enough to blow that pop stand she escaped to the place that was the anti-SLC: The Peoples Gay-public of Drugifornia aka San Francisco (holla 30 Rock!). You can now find her throughout this glorious city slurping Pho and scheming with her best friend Pinky doing what they do every night; try and take over the world.
