Celebrate 5 Years of The Homestead

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

The Homestead is one of my favorite bars in the City.  Sure part of that is because it’s only a few blocks from my house, but the other part is that it’s just a kick-ass bar.  I was there last night getting some drinks with a buddy when I saw the poster for its 5 year anniversary party.  I thought, what better way to show my love for The Homestead than to tell people about its birthday party?  So that’s what I’m doing.

Tomorrow, November 13th, The Homestead is gonna be throwing down all day long.  They’ll be blocking off the stretch of 19th Street that they’re on and  there’ll be bands, food, and like always, cheap booze.  Plus they’ll be raising money for the San Francisco Institute for Global Orthopedics and Traumatology.  Now say that three times fast.
