FREE Concert Alert: See the Black Lips, Thee Oh Sees and Bare Wires

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Seriously, just RSVP.

Look, I know this concert isn’t until December, but it’s one of those sponsored-by-a-liquor company deals where you have to RSVP ahead of time. Which you should do. Right here. Because if you don’t and you get turned away from a FREE concert that you had plenty of notice about you’ll feel even worse than getting turned away from swanky club for something stupid like “not being on the list” or “not having 20 bucks for cover.”

Other than that though, you should definitely go because Thee Oh Sees are hometown psychedelic grunge rock heroes, and the Black Lips are still cool as far as I know. (Although they’ve been known to pee into the crowd at previous SF shows, so bring a poncho maybe?) And if you don’t know Bare Wires, our friends at the OC Music Disorder posted some samples so you can check them out too. Godspeed.

The Black Lips, Thee Oh Sees, Bare Wires
FREE if you RSVP Here
8pm, Saturday December 11th

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
