Celebrate the 3rd Annual Inner Richmond Pub Crawl

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

These things never end well. Or they end really well. One or the other.

No plans this weekend? Well, you do now. Indulge in a night of fun, friends and debauchery at the 3rd Annual Inner Richmond Pub Crawl. This FREE pub crawl is hosted by 10 different bars all within walking distance, offering cheap beer and drink specials throughout the night. There’s a 30-minute limit at each bar, so drink up!

The crawl started back in 2009 when roommates Rene and Dan had just graduated from school. Besides living under the same roof in the Richmond, Rene and Dan also share birthdays that are five days apart, as well as a large group of friends who like to drink. In an effort to get all of their buddies together to celebrate their double-birthday/graduation, the Inner Richmond Pub Crawl was born.

The first crawl turned out to be such a success, the guys decided to go even bigger – promoting the event on flyers in their neighborhood and creating their own website specifically for the event. Last year, they reeled in about 120 participants. Rene said they are expecting over 150 drunkards to partake this year. Who wants to bet that the birthday boys will be crawling home after their loyal followers buy them shots at every bar? Good thing they live close by.

Starting Point:
