Do you have an enormous boner for yoga and its ability to help you reach nirvana? Do you have perhaps just a passive interest in using it to get in shape? Then rejoice, because Satori Yoga Studio is offering a FREE yoga class on Monday afternoons!

This is a rare find, as Satori is one of the highest-rated SF yoga studios on Yelp and provides mats and towels (read: You don’t have to lug around a silly-looking tube all day). The type of yoga done at these classes is appropriate for all levels of yoga experience; hatha flow encompasses slow, gentle movement from one pose to the next, a great way to relax after your normally shitty Monday in the Financial District. Donations are optional, but it sure would be nice of you. All donations made this quarter benefit the Edgewood Center for Children.

Hatha flow yoga at Satori
40 1st St., 2nd floor, at Stevenson [Financial District]
Every Monday, 4:15-5:15pm
FREE, donations accepted

Sarah M. Smart - Red-Light Special

Sarah M. Smart was summoned into being on a distant ice cream planet
through an unholy union of Two-Buck Chuck and unicorns. They sent her to Indianapolis and then the University of Missouri's School of Journalism
to spread peace and big hair. Perpetually in mourning for the comma, she
has worked for a variety of print media, including Indianapolis
Monthly
, Global Journalist, and Vox. Since moving
to San Francisco for the booming dumpster-diving scene, she has been an
online operative for such fine folks as Horoscope.com , Neo-Factory, and
Academy of Art University. After a day of cat-feeding, hat-making,
dog-walking, vegan baking, and daydreaming about marrying rich, all she
wants is a margarita as big as her face.
