Looking to spice up your weekdays after work? Stop into Nick’s Crispy Tacos in Nob Hil for their Happy Hour that never seems to end. Where else can you get free chips and salsa, cheap tacos and $3 drinks from 5-10 pm Monday-Friday? Nick’s is the place!

Other places have tried to recreate Nick’s original crispy taco – which is designed for your eating pleasure. Choose from delicious carne asada, chicken or beer battered and fried fish tacos wrapped in not only a crispy shell, but then again in a soft, flour tortilla. This high-tech design prevents your taco from falling apart, since it is bound together with an extra layer of protection. Their chunky guacamole makes everything taste better too!

The place gets pretty packed, especially on Taco Tuesdays, where tacos are only $2 a pop. Be prepared to wait in line. The weird thing is that they have these posh, velvet couches to chill out on, and lots of TVs to zone out on while you wait. The decor may seem a bit confusing, its like a night club serving….tacos. Strange but satisfying – and your wallet won’t complain.
