Taste a Slice of Nizario’s Pizza

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

What could be better than stuffing your face with pizza after a night of drinking? Pretty much nothing. If you so happen to be in the Castro and need a slice of something amazing – go to Nizario’s Pizza on 18th St. You won’t be disappointed – even if you are from New York and think California has shitty pizza. Nizario’s will prove you wrong!

The place is tiny and is open ’til 2 a.m. Try the Castro slice  – spinach, chicken, pesto and feta. The picture here shows one of those cut in half – so the slices are huge. The crust is light and the toppings aren’t too greasy. The Hawaiian was pretty bomb too. We got three slices for under $10, which made three broke girls very happy. Nizario’s is family owned and has been around the city since 1983. There are a few other locations in SF, so check out their website to see if there is one close to you.
