This Saturday: Win 2 FREE Tickets to See Muni Diaries Live!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

We’ve all had some memorable times on the Muni – whether they be good, bad or just straight weird. How many times have you seen someone naked on the Muni? Or how many times has someone spilled beer on you on the Muni? Or how many times have you had to bite your cheek in order not to laugh at some crazy person on the Muni? If you could relate to any of the above scenarios – then Saturday night is for YOU.

Join fellow Muni riders for a night of laughs, tears and venting as a stellar line-up of story tellers share their best public transportation incidents at Muni Diaries Live! at the Elbo Room. This live production only happens twice a year, so be sure to clear your calendar!

Enter for your chance to win two FREE tickets to the show by sending an email to contests@brokeassstuart.com.

You’ll hear stories from these amazing storytellers:

  • -Stephen Elliott, author of The Adderall Diaries and editor of The Rumpus.
  • -Sal Castaneda, longtime KTVU traffic reporter and radio host.
  • -Glynn Washington, executive producer of NPR’s Snap Judgment.
  • -Caitlin Gill, comedian and spoken-word artist.
  • -Chloe Veltman, host and producer of public radio’s VoiceBox.
  • -Pinched Nerve, San Francisco musician who will be performing his song, “Back Door, Step Down!”
  • – Jan Richman, author of Thrill-Bent, a new novel about roller coasters and Tourette’s syndrome.
Muni Diaries began back in 2008 and to this day continues to document your stories and experiences on the bus. For those of you who aren’t familiar with their blog, check it out here.
