Sunday Best at the BKLYN Yard

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Last night was supposed to be low key and chill.  I was going to be home by 1 and in bed shortly thereafter if all went according to plan. Alas the best of intentions came to nothing and I didn’t get to bed until shortly after 4. My dreams of waking up before noon, getting a decent breakfast and working out before hitting The New Museum were dashed against the rocks and instead I’m on my couch draped in a blanket trying to get up the strength to head over to the BKLYN Yard, hear some music, eat some food and chill out in the (minimal) sunshine.

Sunday Best‘s resident DJs Eamon Harkin, Doug Singer and Justin Carter are joined today by special guest Jus-Ed who will  be spinning tunes til the break of 7 PM for the low, low price of 8 American Dollars.

In addition to the usual food vendors, today’s event will also feature the Hot Dog stylings of Asia Dog, who will be selling their famous Banh-Mi Hot Dog, as well as the Thai dog with mango and pickled onions.

That’s enough motivation for me.

BAS Writers

BAS Writers is mostly a collection of articles written by people for the early days of this site. Back then nobody knew that snarky articles they were writing could come back and haunt them when job searching a decade later.
