This whole street food trend seems to be catching on like herpes at a whorehouse.  I was just contacted by some of the people doing the PR for a new movie called 500 Days of Summer and as a way to publicize the movie, certain street food vendors will be giving out FREE food today in SF, NY, Philly, LA, Boston, and DC.  As far as I’m concerned there’s no better way to celebrate the longest day of the year than getting FREE food.  To find out where to score the grub in your city, go here for the listings of place and time.

Personally I think the movie looks pretty good.  I saw a trailer for it the other night when my lady and I accidently saw My Life In Ruins (I say accidently because it was the only flick playing at the time we showed up at the theatre.  I don’t recommend seeing it unless your mom or grandma is taking you.  I bet they’d like it.).  500 Days has Zooey Deschanel in it, which is never a bad thing, and seems like it would be a good date movie because it looks both romantic and artsy.  Um, yeah, I guess I’m done talking now.
