Word on the street is that Ballantino has been particularly inspired by the smooth sounds of Steely Dan this week, as “The Dan” (as they’re known in inside circles) just played the Beacon. Where else are you going to hear a practically orgasmic co-mingling of “Peg”, Grace Jones, and TI? Will someone please tell me, because I’d really like to know!
