Bound Together Anarchist Bookstore

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

This is the mural from the side of the building

This is certainly one of the coolest places in all of San Francisco.  Bound Together is an Anarchist Book Collective.  Now I know that for a lot of people the word Anarchist has negative and ominous connotations, but that is because those people are stupid.  Everyone at Bound Together works for free and the store is pretty much a non-profit.  They have taken it upon themselves to disseminate progressive literature to all those who are interested in learning about what is often not mentioned through most mainstream forms of media.  You can find some truly brilliant and subversive writing in this store and I highly recommend you at least drop in and check it out for yourself.
