I got this tip from a reader named Ricky Castaneda.  If you go out an try it let us know how it works:

Tip: If you show up at the coffee bar at the Whole Foods on harrison and 27th in Oakland when they close around 8 p.m., they give away all the remaining brewed coffee for free. They don’t care if you use their cups or bring your own thermos. and they have free wifi! Word.
