Statues of Jesus: A Photo Essay
I spent the last part of my work day looking at pictures of Jesus statues instead of finishing some time-sensitive assignments. This is how I feel about my choices now:
Does that make me like Jesus? Just kidding! I don’t think that '“ do I look like (everybody’s favorite anti-Semite) Huey Long to you?
This is Christ of the Ozarks, built on the orders of old Huey somewhere in Arkansas at this place called Magnetic Mountain. Scary! When he heard he was being immortalized by the same sculptor who built Dinosaur World, he probably felt like doing this:
Good thing Jesus can breathe underwater!
But just because He’s submerged in the ocean somewhere off the coast of Florida doesn’t mean He’s not all-knowing. He’s still watching you…
