Join a FREE Citywide Game of Tag with Journey to the End of the Night

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

EPIC. CINEMATIC. TAKE MUNI.

Usually when I’m on a “journey to the end of the night” it means I’m trying not to fall asleep on the bar after someone thought another round of Fernet shots would be a good idea. But this Saturday’s Halloween edition of Journey to the End of the Night is actually more like a citywide game of tag or, as the organizers call describe it: “cinematic chase scene through the city at night” Your goal is to make it to the six secret checkpoints the fastest and the only form of transportation is your two feet and public transit (although, knowing how Muni operates, you’re probably better off walking).

The game starts at Justin Herman Plaza at 7pm and you’ll need to RSVP on Facebook to get all the SECRET INFO. Last year’s event drew 700 people, and of course it’s all FREE so show up prepared.

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
