Sometimes, on the weekends, your body can become a repository for whiskey, cigarettes, and Tombstone frozen pizzas, WHICH, good lord, I recently discovered contain a total of 80 grams of fat per pizza, if you get the pepperoni one. I am not necessarily opposed to consuming that much fat in one sitting, but if I do, it should be from something super delicious like a crème brûlée, not a pizza that I didn’t even cook correctly because it was 3am and I was drunk.

However, such dearths of healthfulness can easily be counteracted with some repentant pro-biotic stuff on Mondays. Health drinks are usually ridiculously expensive, but this week at Jamba Juice they cost the same as a hash brown at McDonald’s! Just print out this coupon for a $1 fruit and yogurt blend smoothie, $1 steel cut oatmeal, or $2 cold buster smoothie (good through Wednesday, Jan. 19th).

Katy B. grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the home of Gerald R. Ford, Andy Richter, and, at one point, the guy who wrote Mr. Holland's Opus. She moved to NYC for her degree in library science, and is now in the Media Studies program at The New School. She hopes to one day be a film studies librarian. Ask her anything about Dewey Decimal – anything! – and she will roll her eyes because academic libraries use Library of Congress. Durrr.
