13th Annual Glen Park Festival

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Having lived in San Francisco for the past seven years, I feel like I am at least somewhat familiar with most neighborhoods in the city.  The exception is Glen Park.  I am ashamed to say that until recently I wasn’t 100% sure where it was/that it existed. Yes, I know it’s lame, and I apologize to all of the fine Glen Park-ians for being so blind.

This weekend, I plan to make up for my ignorance by attending the 13th annual Glen Park Festval, and having a grand ole time.  The website promises live music, tasty food, raffle prizes, etc.  Wish me luck as I confirm and enjoy the myth that is Glen Park!

Ali was born and raised in the Wholesome/Creepy capital of the world, Salt Lake City, UT. Once she was old enough to blow that pop stand she escaped to the place that was the anti-SLC: The Peoples Gay-public of Drugifornia aka San Francisco (holla 30 Rock!). You can now find her throughout this glorious city slurping Pho and scheming with her best friend Pinky doing what they do every night; try and take over the world.
