Win A Pair of Tix to ‘Happy’ Screening at the Roxie
Happiness is one of those elusive emotions that I’ve always thought is really interesting to hear psychologists and social-whatever experts talk about and try to quantify. I’m pretty sure Oscar-nominated director Roko Belic agrees, because his new non-profit feature documentary, called Happy, explores societal factors, like money, fame and relationships, that affect happiness “from the bayou of Louisiana to the desert of Namibia, from the beaches of Brazil to the villages of Okinawa.”
Sounds cool, no? Roko may still be searching for answers, but we already know that FREE movie tickets make broke-asses really, REALLY happy, so we’re giving away a pair for the 9pm screening of Happy at the Roxie on Friday, July 1. Shoot an e-mail over to firstname.lastname@example.org to win tix, or suck it up and just pay for them here. The director will be present for a Q&A after the show (jot down those hard-hitting questions now) and there are extra goodies for all attendees: One FREE yoga class from Satori Yoga Studio OR 15% off personal yoga instruction from Nicole Presents: Yoga, Health, and Wellness with a ticket stub from the screening!
