Get LitUp for Litcrawl Saturday October 15th

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you haven’t had a chance to checkout one of Litquake’s amazing events you are running out of time.  In fact this weekend happens to be your last chance.  As a completely unbiased and objective observer I’m going to have to recommend the readings taking place this Saturday at Revolution Cafe in the Mission from 8:30 – 9:30.  LitUp, a San Francisco storytelling series is taking over the stage as part of phase 3 of Saturday’s Litcrawl and they are trotting out a fine display of talented writers and storytellers.  The lineup is as follows:

Jessie Alsop
Graham Gremore
Hugh Hunter
Jennifer Lou
Christin Rice
Mike Shur

Wait a minute doesn’t one of those names look super duper familiar?.. weird.  Anyways I can say with 100% certainty it will be a great night of storytelling and you are guaranteed at least one good belly laugh. Worse comes to worse you’ll get to hear me tell an embarassing story in front of a bunch of complete strangers.

Hugh Hunter - Economical Essayist

Hugh was born in Boston, but managed to escape to the Bay Area before acquiring that ridiculous accent. Growing up in Marin, Hugh joined the throngs of suburbanites that dream of being rock stars and movie gods only to end up in a well appointed cubicle. Now Hugh lives in San Francisco and casually ignores his environmental studies degree, choosing to write comedy and eat burritos instead.
