FREE Wine Tastings at Bottlerocket in Greenwich Village
Wine culture is honestly something that Two-Buck Chuck-swiggin’ simpleton like me just doesn’t understand, but I sure am willing to learn! Especially when said wine is FREE. For this reason, you can pretty much count on finding me slurring my words while clutching the shit out of a wine glass at one of Bottlerocket Wine & Spirits’s FREE wine tastings, taking place every Thursday until the end of August.
Bottlerocket promises FREE vino, snacks, and chocolate (hell yeah), and strongly encourages singles to come by and mingle with other wine enthusiasts/broke-ass freebie hoarders (hubba, hubba). So who knows, you may even meet your match in a slurring, wine glass-clutching southpaw who barely knows a cabernet from that movie where Liza Minelli wears green nail polish and does burlesque, or someone classy who is totally into wine. To each their own.
