Holiday Indie Mart this Saturday at Speakeasy Brewery

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

To be honest, this is just cut and pasted this from the press release, but fuck it, I’m busy as shit right now. Sounds pretty rad though. Read below:

The Holiday Indie Mart returns for the 5th year to bring you the perfect event for all your holiday shopping and to get festive. We’re proud to host it in partnership with Speakeasy Ales & Lagers at their Brewery for the first time. We’ll also be previewing the new taproom, designed by Kelly Malone & team, opening in early 2013. Good gifts, good food, good music, good brews. 45 vendors will be set up throughout the brewery with a variety of rad things for you, your boo, family, friends and even your pooch. Here is a highlight of all we’ll have going on:

*45 of our FAVORITE vendors with an array of awesome locally made wares in every realm
*Speakeasy’s amazing beers for $3- and a chance to see the brewery in action
*Trucks! Trucks! Trucks!- everything from a mobile pet boutique, the Pretty Parlor mobile salon, fashion trucks and of course plenty of food trucks like Doc’s of the Bay, Chairman Bao and more
*Workshop with fun merch, gift wrap & holiday fun
*DJ’s playing sweet tunes all day long
*Preview of the new taproom designed by Kelly Malone and team, open early 2013 (follow website for info)
*The return of the Dirty Santa Booth…prepare for all naughty and no nice

BONUS- We’ll be running a $3- shuttle from several spots around town so you can have a sober ride home and since we know Bayview can be a trek. As well we’ll have cabs readily available. Speakeasy is a flat bike ride from Bart and the Mission, as well it is easily reachable via public transit (19 & 44 bus lines). Its a quick walk from the T muni line. For more info about getting there check the Speakeasy website.

The shuttle info is on the FB event page.
