The Queen of legendary Memphis juke joint Wild Bill’s, backed by SF’s funkiest Southern soul band. Created in San Francisco, Otis shows are a modern take on the Stax soul revue that roared through Europe in 1967. The band’s raw, powerful sound combines horns, B3 organ and backing vocals in support of some of the country’s most charismatic front men and women. Our August 27 show at The Chapel features the band’s first major collaboration with Memphis soul powerhouse Miss Nickki. It builds on the chemistry established between Otis and Miss Nickki in 2014 at legendary Memphis late night spot Wild Bill’s. Come on out for a blistering night of authentic Southern soul, infused with serious SF musical muscle.
