Happy New Year NYC! Fireworks and Fatty Food

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

If you’re anywhere near as broke as I am, you’re gonna want to  head over to Brooklyn’s biggest (and cheapest!) party tonight at Grand Army Plaza. Sponsored by Borough President Marty Markowitz, there will be fireworks at midnight, and Free hot beverages starting at 11 p.m., when you can also listen to the Motown sounds of Blacksmith and Friends. They say the best locations for viewing the fireworks include: anywhere in Grand Army Plaza and along Prospect Park West between Grand Army Plaza and 9th Street. Details here.

BAS Writers

BAS Writers is mostly a collection of articles written by people for the early days of this site. Back then nobody knew that snarky articles they were writing could come back and haunt them when job searching a decade later.
