Ain’t no party like a Guerrilla Ice Cream Party

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Guerrilla Ice Cream!? More like Brilliantuerrilla Ice Cream! OK, that didn’t really work but you get what I mean. It all started in June, when a gentle rustle on the interwebz let flavor fiends know about Guerrilla’s crazy, altruistic concoctions (flavors are inspired by political movements around the world and 100% of proceeds go to marginalized populations in NYC and beyond). Thanks to classes, events, and weekend carts at Hester Street Fair (Sat) and Fulton Stall Market (Sun), they’ve donated almost $1000 – double their original goal!

To celebrate, they’s gonna throw a party they is and you’re invited to come and eat unlimited amounts of their greatest flavor hits, wash it down with free booze, and probably belly rub with a new friend for just $15, or $12 if you purchase online HERE by today.

Offerings include “Brooklyn Brewery Brown Ale with Buckwheat Honey topped with Roasted Chestnuts and Apple Chips”, “Sweet Cheese with Guava Swirl topped with Cinnamon Expresso and Malta Caramel” and two more equally seductive flavors. So leave your lactose intolerance behind and be sure to wear something elastic. It’s going to be a damn good night.

Jill is an Ohio native and Boston University graduate who refuses to stop saying "pop" and wearing her Red Sox gear despite being heckled for doing so since moving to Brooklyn. She's been honing her thrifty ways since doing that silly thing people talk about when they ignore reason to follow their hearts and chose a career in the fulfilling but faltering music industry. She earns her beer money as a publicist and writer, and spends her spare time cooking, biking, and trying to decide if she's ready to get a cat.
