Skullz Press Returns to Bender’s Bearing Cheap Beer Tonight

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Bikes and Beer and Tattoos and Wacky Shit!

It’s been a couple months since Mike Giant, San Francisco’s patron saint of beer, bicycles and tattoo art has thrown one of his always-legendary drinking and biking sessions at Benders in the Mission. If you’re looking to drink cheap beer with some attractive people under unflattering lighting than there is literally no better place to do it than Benders during a Skullz Press party. Like last time, Mike and company will be bringing PBR specials all night and if you’re looking to cover your bar tab, you’ll probably need a little liquid courage to chase after the cash prize in the bike race that starts at 10pm*. If that’s not your thing you could always put a little wager down on the pool tables or play it safe and just save your change for getting nerdy with the jukebox.

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
