FREE Don’t Touch Me There Comedy Spectacular

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

I’ve always considered myself a comedy nerd. Which is great for me since there’s always plenty of comedy shows goin down in New York. The problem is not all of it is cheap. I’ve done the two drink minimum thing and had to suffer through some of the worst stand-up of my life. It’s a crapshoot just like most entertainment, but there’s a few stand-by series you can count on, like Don’t Touch Me There.

Hosted by Blaine Perry & Pat Stengo, this regular running series always features fresh sketches, short films and a rotating roster of special guests. Check out their FREE show this Friday with guest appearances by Matt McCarthy ( AMC Action Pack, Comedy Central),  Sarah Schaefer (Late Night W/Jimmy Fallon), and John Mulaney from SNL.

Now I’m just waiting for a comedy night titled “Show Me on the Doll”, and my life will be complete.

Laura S - Spendthrift Scribe

Laura S, left the "sixth borough" three years ago to settle in Brooklyn. After working at some daily rags, she now does writing on the side but still eats more Ramen then necessary. When she's not moving residences every 6 months, eating her way through every neighborhood, and trying every microbrew known to man, she is unsuccessfully rediscovering home economics. With her binging days behind her, she's now exploring new projects and rediscovering the city that she loves (although is still prone to sliding on her knees during a Prince karaoke set).
