More Sexy Oyster Opportunities at Bar Crudo’s Happy Hour

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Slurping noises optional

With Valentine’s day coming up, we really want to give you as many opportunities as possible to dine on some aphrodisiacs. So if you can’t make it down to the Embarcadero for $1 Oysters at Waterbar, we might suggest a more homely neighborhood location for shellfish: Bar Crudo on Divisadero has been serving up raw and cooked seafood options on Divisadero for over a year now and their happy hour specials on seafood are as good as you’ll find in this town. Any day from Tuesday to Sunday, you can knock back $1 oysters and $3 beers or $5 specials on wines. If that’s not sexy enough, you can grab a plate of two fish tacos for 10 bucks. I’ll leave you to interpret fish tacos how ever you like.

Andrew Dalton - Aggressive Panhandler

Andrew is an East Coast transplant from Virginia hamming it up in San Francisco without any intention of leaving. Having worked every typical job from Bike Shop Employee to Bartender to Ad Agency Hotshot, to Dotcom Layoff he now busts his ass covering the "weird things to do" beat for gracious local audiences at SFAppeal.com and rallies the Western Addy/Lower Haight/Panhandle neighborhoods into action at AggressivePanhandler.com. His work was published in a real, paper magazine one time. One day he might even figure out how to make money from it.
