Do you want to playfully yet truthfully express the way you feel towards someone you’re crushing on but not spend a shit ton of money? Or perhaps you want to give your significant other something for no reason at all and are kind of broke? Look no further than writeasongaboutme.com, which lets you order and customize an original song for whoever you want! There’s one dude who runs the site who actually writes & produces the songs, Jordan Cooper, so the turnaround isn’t instantaneous, but let me tell you, it’s a quality product.

So, on the website it asks you who the person is you want the song about and a bunch of details about them including their name, obviously, as well as any details about them that Jordan can put in the song. There’s even a free space for you to write in anything you want for potential inclusion. So, when I got the finished song, it was a bunch of inside information about the person incorporated into an actually pretty good and catchy song. Definitely a surreal experience. And the person loved it! But the truly best part about the whole thing is it’s only $15 $25* per song!

This is essentially putting all the great and best parts about making something yourself, except someone does it for you, but better and with little effort required of you! Who knew being lazy and cheap would finally pay off?

* Act now people, because apparently, he got a pretty great response from this piece being out there, and needed to raise the price in proportion to the unforeseen demand!
