The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Funk. Punk. Soul. Night. This Tuesday, June 14th, come out to Grant & Green Saloon in North Beach for what is sure to be one groovy show.

Punk Funk Mob, a local Bay Area band, is an interesting combination of punk rock and funk that will satisfy the need to indulge your inner Iggy Pop and George Clinton simultaneously. To listen for yourself, check this out. NighTraiN, on the other hand, is an all female punk rock band hailing from Seattle. Their tunes are upbeat and reminiscent of many of the punk bands we listened to (and still do) growing up. For samples of what is in store from them, direct your attention here. These two bands will combine for the night right here in San Francisco for a must see performance. For more general information, take a look at this.

The best part about the show is that it’s FREE. Grant & Green Saloon usually has pretty decent drink prices as well. A FREE show and cheap drinks are always easy on the wallet. Come check it out!
