Unwin(e)d with FREE Live Music Tuesdays at City Winery

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

It’s no secret that I’m picking up what City Winery is putting down (I just linked to one of my posts in one of my posts! SO META! Or annoying). And that was even before I knew they had a courtyard where they would treat my eager ears to free music every Tuesday night through August.

The 3rd Annual Hudson Square Music & Wine Festival is up and running, featuring an impressive lineup including the likes of Brazilian beat masters Forro in the Dark and critically-loved singer-songwriter Nicole Atkins. Food vendors will be on site and wine will be for sale, obvious not just because it’s City Winery but because it is a scientific fact* that people can’t dance and have a good time without alcohol. DUH.

*not really.

Hudson Square Music & Wine Festival
Free. Every Tuesday at City Winery

She's been honing her thrifty ways since doing that silly thing people talk about when they ignore reason to follow their hearts and chose a career in the fulfilling but faltering music industry. She earns her beer money as a publicist and writer, and spends her spare time cooking, biking, and trying to decide if she's ready to get a cat.
