SCRATCHbread Puts the Bread Back in BedSty

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Known as one of the most popular booths at Brooklyn Flea and best reason to never be able to lose those last few pounds, SCRATCHbread has decided to bring their doughy magic back to their HQ in BedSty. This is awesome for many reasons, but especially because now if you can grab a buttercream brownie–the best I’ve ever had–to get you through the week, and then pop by on weekends to try some of the new specialty eats they’re baking up.

Wednesdays 4-8PM they’ll have everything; Fridays 4-8PM they’ll serve up PIZZAbread (using their incredible pillowy foccacia), pastries and bread, Saturdays 10AM-6PM they’ll have everything, including market sandwich & seasonal spreads (!), and Sundays they’re going to play around with brunch flavors and more. Given SCRATCH’s propensity of mixing sweet and savory in deliciously idiosyncratic ways, more time in the bakery is going to bode well for both them and us.
