FREE Tasting with Eve’s Cidery at Bierkraft

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Oktoberfest is technically over, but that’s no reason to stop celebrating and imbibing golden, alcoholic beverages that make Fall even more enjoyable than it already is. Did you know that it’s Cider Week in NYC? Well, it is, and as part of the festivities and informational events about the apple product for adults, Bierkraft is hosting a hard cider tasting with Eve’s Cidery!

Cider Week takes place from Oct. 16th-23rd, with events all over Manhattan and Brooklyn, including a Cider-making class and a talk on Women in Cider and Cheese. However, the Eve’s Cidery tasting at Bierkraft on Tuesday, the 18th, is perfect for us broke-asses who just want to learn a little bit more about this distinct drink while actually getting to indulge. You’ll also get a chance to meet one half the husband and wife duo who run Eve’s Cidery, Ezra Sherman.

Tiara Francis - NY Know-it-all

Tiara was born in NYC, raised in NJ, and after studying Comp Lit at Columbia, vowed to never go back to the suburbs. While she has expensive taste, she also has shallow pockets and is always looking for a budget way to be a weekend warrior. Her hobbies include laughing way too loudly, putting hot sauce on/in everything - including margaritas - speaking French at inappropriate moments, and dancing like there’s no one else in da club.
