New Biergarten in Hayes Valley

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Sprechen sie Deutsch? Get over to the new Biergarten in Hayes Valley for some an awesome patio setting where you can score some cold German brews and some authentic grub.

This place is pretty new, and is only open Wednesdays-Sundays from 3-9 p.m. Make sure you check the forecast first, it may not be open if it’s raining. But on a sunny afternoon, it’s hard to beat if you are looking for a mellow, family friendly place to kick it and knock back a few beers while munching on some pretzels and big ol’ Bratwurst.

The prices aren’t for all broke-asses. Beers run at $8 a pop (but they are big.) Pretzels are a whopping $5 and the sausages are also $8. I would recommend splurging on payday for example, just to try it out and practice your German.
