Yerba Buena Gardens: Beautiful And Entirely FREE!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

San Francisco is not without its fair share of parks and open spaces. All of which are perfect for us broke asses and many of the things we love to do. One of my personal favorites is the Yerba Buena Gardens.

Yerba Buena has it all – a bitchin’ view of downtown, plenty of greenery, and tons of seating where you can take it all in. The crowd is usually pretty mellow and tends to be more of the nine to five crowd. If you’re lucky, you may wander over there during one of the many festivals that take place annually. If that ends up being the case you could catch everything from live musical performances to various cultural festivals with many FREE activities and demonstrations.

Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy your lunch outside of the office or kick back with a book for a few hours, Yerba Buena is a great, FREE choice.

He is continually searching for great dive bars.
