Views Aplenty Atop The de Young Tower

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Tickets to the de Young are by no means cheap. There is another option, though, for us broke asses. The de Young tower!

While we may not be able to afford entry to the museum itself, we can definitely check out the tower. Cruise up to the top of the 144-foot structure for FREE and catch some killer views. You can see the immediate areas surrounding the park including the Sunset and Richmond districts. On a clear day you can see many other neighborhoods as well as entirely different parts of the Bay. It’s pretty bitchin’.

If you find yourself with no cash and lots of time on your hands, cruise over to the de Young tower. Catch a glimpse of your hood from up high!
