The Habitat’s 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

It has been pretty chilly outside these past couple of days and it doesn’t seem to be warming up any time soon. Lucky for you, The Habitat is hosting their 4th Annual Chili Cook-off. For just $5 you’ll be able to be a part of the audience and judge each chili by casting a vote this Sunday. You’ll receive approximately a two ounce sample of each chili.

The cook-off begins at 6pm but you can get your drink on before hand as The Habitat is, of course, a bar. They offer beers, scotch, bourbons and six specialty drinks. If you have nothing to do on Sunday or you just happen to be a fat-ass, bundle up and head over to get yourself some chili in this chilly weather.

Enrique Grijalva - Mr. Minimum Wage

Enrique Grijalva - Mr. Minimum Wage

My father came, my mother saw...and I conquered. I encourage children to do drugs, I buy alcohol for teenagers, and I drink beer with the homeless. In my spare time, I attend art galleries for the FREE booze while rubbing elbows with modish elephants. I also hammer six-inch nails into small penises. Stuart knighted me as Broke-Ass King of New York. You've been warned.
