Macy’s FREE Fishing Clinics at Prospect Park

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Fishing. There’s something most New Yorkers might not know how to do. Although this is mainly an event for children, I think adults unfamiliar with the art of fishing will benefit from these FREE fishing clinics taking place in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.

Macy’s is sponsoring this FREE program, offering kids quality fishing instruction for the summer. The clinics will take place every Sunday at 2pm. Children 15 and under will have to be accompanied by an parent/guardian and you guys will learn about recreational fishing, fishing safety, and fish-friendly techniques, all while casting your
lines on a serene summer day at the park!

Spots are available on a first come, first-serve basis. Therefore, may I suggest that you get their early. The meeting area will be at the Audubon Center inside of Prospect Park. It’s located on Ocean Avenue and Lincoln Road. So go catch some fish guys!!! Hey, you never know, you just might end up reeling in Moby Dick or catch the Lochness Monster on vacation.

Enrique Grijalva - Mr. Minimum Wage

My father came, my mother saw...and I conquered. I encourage children to do drugs, I buy alcohol for teenagers, and I drink beer with the homeless. In my spare time, I attend art galleries for the FREE booze while rubbing elbows with modish elephants. I also hammer six-inch nails into small penises. Stuart knighted me as Broke-Ass King of New York. You've been warned.
