Happy Pride 2013…We at BAS are once gain bringing you the best and cheapest that pride has to offer, from cheap drinks, to free events, to give aways and more…Stay tuned all week for our pre pride line-up, as well as Pride in Pictures next week!

The fine folks over at The Bold Italic (also my sometimes employer) are throwing San Francisco a Big Gay Birthday Party! Since it’s SF’s 237th birthday and SF Pride are happening the same weekend in June they’ve decided to commemorate these two HUGE occasions with a big ol’ party on Friday, June 28th. All the details are here.

Here’s a list of some of the stuff that will be going on and below the list of stuff is the entry form. Two winners will each with a pair of tickets.  And an added bonus is that I’ll be there with my whole family (brother, parents, aunt, uncle) so maybe you’ll meet them too! Stuart Schuffman, aka Broke-Ass Stuart, is a travel writer, poet, TV host, activist, and general shit-stirrer. His website BrokeAssStuart.com is one of the most influential arts & culture sites in the San Francisco Bay Area and his freelance writing has been featured in Lonely Planet, Conde Nast Traveler, The Bold Italic, Geek.com and too many other outlets to remember. His weekly column, Broke-Ass City, appears every other Thursday in the San Francisco Examiner. Stuart’s writing has been translated into four languages. In 2011 Stuart created and hosted the travel show Young, Broke, and Beautiful on IFC and in 2015 he ran for Mayor of San Francisco and got nearly 20k votes.
