Win Tix to Out of the Past: Celebrating LGBT History in San Francisco

The folks at FlipSide are at it again with another great history event at the Old Mint. As San Franciscans we are proud of our city’s role in the struggle for equal rights, so why not celebrate this history? I’m pasting all the important info below and below that is the entry form. To learn more and purchase tickets go here. Also get $5 off your tickets with this promo code: OUT

Join FlipSide and Project Open Hand at the historic 1874 Old Mint for an evening celebrating the LGBT experience in San Francisco!

Enjoy historical talks by community luminaries about Drag Queens, Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, the AIDS Quilt and many more stories from our past by the bay. Take a tour of archival displays tracing the history of local organizations and charities that were founded right here in SF and expanded across the world. Feast your eyes on a series of short films and your ears to musical performances throughout the building.

All proceeds from this non-profit event benefit Project Open Hand and the San Francisco Museum and Historical Society.

You also get a FREE drink with admission. Click here to see all the amazing things that are going on at the event. And enter to win the FREE tickets below!

Broke-Ass Stuart - Editor In Cheap

I've been called "an Underground legend": SF Chronicle , "an SF cult hero": SF Bay Guardian, and "the chief of cheap": Time Out New York, but to those familiar with my work, I'm just "that douchebag who writes books about cheap stuff and drinks a lot".
