As SF Pride 2014 hits midweek and shifts into higher gears, it’s time once again for the San Francisco Bay Guardian’s annual Pullin’ Pork For Pride happy hour.  They’ve been pulling said pork for ten years now, so you best trust that carne is just about as tender and juicy as your quavering lips can handle.  Not only that, but these cherce mouthfuls are FREE to all you little meat sluts courtesy of Soul Groove, so wear something that’ll hide the inevitable stains. (Fear not, non-meat sluts, there will be plenty of veg vice given away as well.)

In between all the cramming, you can come up for air and New Belgium Brewing will be on hand with all the suds you can gargle for $15.   Too much?  Sigh…very well- if you go here, you can knock off an extra five bucks and keep the change you filthy animal.

Then all that’s left to do is waddle your yourself onto the dance floor while Hard French’s Brown Amy & Carnita spin their vinyl grooves and the Good Vibrations spins their Wheel of Fun, desperately trying to abate your unrelenting carnal requirements with so many dildos, fleshlights and lube.

Stephen's early years were spent in a boxcar overlooking downtown Los Angeles. From there he moved around the state with his family before settling under the warm blanket of smog that covers suburban Southern California. Moving around led to his inability to stay in one place for very long, but San Francisco has been reeling him back in with its siren song since 1999.
By trade he pours booze, but likes to think he can write and does so occasionally for the SF Bay Guardian, Bold Italic and 7x7. He also likes to enjoy time spent in old eateries, bars and businesses that, by most standards, would have been condemned a long time ago.
