Broke-Ass of The Week: Comedian Kyle Dunnigan

Updated: Apr 23, 2015 12:39
The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

Every week we feature a different person from the community shedding a little light on their life. Who knows, maybe you’ll learn something about the human spirit — probably not.

Most recently, Kyle Dunnigan had an amazing performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers  and has been contributing on air comedic pieces for The Howard Stern Show.  He also recently sat in the “Artie Lange Chair” for several shows, and booked a supporting role in the Judd Apatow feature Trainwreck which just premiered at SXSW (due out this summer). He was a staff writer on all 3 seasons of Emmy nominated Inside Amy Schumer for Comedy Central. Rolling Stone ranked his podcast, Professor Blastoff, which he co-hosts with Tig Notaro #9 on their list of funniest podcasts right now.

Kyle will be at The San Francisco Punchline Comedy Club from April 29th-May 2nd

Best deal you’ve ever gotten?
I furnished my apartment super cheap. I let a guy that owned a furniture store think I went to someone else and already bought everything. He kept telling me I was an idiot because could have given me a much cheaper price. I had him tell me exactly the price he would have given me for each piece. He was saying ridiculously low prices to make me feel like I made a huge mistake.
I told him I would return the other furniture and take his prices. He had to give me the deal or look like a total liar.
