A Guy at Burning Man Jumped into the Man While it was Burning

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

This randomly came across my FB feed this morning so I figured I’d share it with you all.

An attendee of Burning Man decided to jump into the Burning of the Man yesterday in the Black Rock Desert. He was airlifted to a burn unit but is feared dead.

According to the NY Daily News:

Firefighters and other rescue crews chased the man, who slipped through a safety perimeter and sprinted for the flames at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday.

Here is the update about it on the Burning Man site. The comments though are where things get extra special.
