Bike To Work Day – A Guide to Fun, Free Shit!

The Bay's best newsletter for underground events & news

In the world of riding bikes, I was a late bloomer. It wasn’t until I moved to Oakland that I really started appreciating how fun and useful they are. Bikes are basically perfect: zippy, not a bitch to park, and the side effects are having a nice ass and not destroying the environment. Sign me up!

So obviously I am looking forward to Bike To Work Day like it’s Christmas in May! For those not in the know, BTWD is this Thursday, and it’s the day where you get rewarded with treats for just hopping on your bike and getting yourself to work. Not so shabby. There is tons of free cool shit to be had, and with a little finesse you can roll away from BTWD like a total stunner.

Free shit! YAY!
