7 Reasons the World May Not be Doomed: The Bioneers Conference

I cried. I laughed. I grew starry-eyed in the presence of so many intelligent and dynamic humans under one roof. I cried again. Here are some reasons for action and hope that I learned at Bioneers.

The Sour Side of Pickleball: Court Battles in the Bay

Pickleball gangs developed. I’d often see those Pickleballers slowly exiting their Hybrid Electric Vehicles in their Normcore attire (after they had circled endlessly to find parking where there was no street sweeping). Wispy grey hair peeking out from under their giant brimmed UPF hats from REI, opaque white glistening sunblock slathered on their sunglassed faces, Hoka supportive Pickleball sneakers, pricey carbon fiber weave paddles, tee shirts that read “Day Dinker” and “Pickleball. It’s kind of a big Dill” and enormous, insulated, stainless steel Hydro Flask vessels filled with electrolytes. “Pickleball” is what they play.

While Elon’s trolling is usually contained on Twitter feeds, his most recent attempt at levity has now come to Market Street. He, being the comedic genius

Tech Founder Appears To Advocate For Public Lynchings In San Francisco

Bro, what the fuck?  I regularly make jokes about San Francisco being a dystopian nightmare and a lot of them go viral because there’s some truth to my jokes. Don’t get me wrong, San Francisco is very pretty and I like it more than I admit, but it’s also pretty

This Bay Area Artist Puts Women Center Stage

The Indian food in the Bay Area has nothing on the spicy cuisine that Devendra Sharma ate as a kid in Mathura. He says it’s all watered down. “As an Indian, I would never go to an Indian restaurant in the Bay Area,” Sharma says. “It’s kind of lame.” Thankfully,
